If I could go back and tell myself anything on that car ride home it'd be this:

Dear Elisabeth, Breathe, it's OK.

I know you just completely changed your mind about Peter, and you have no idea what this means.

You're hesitant, you're confused, and you're very smitten.

All the car ride home you won't be able to get him off your mind. Yeah, sorry time won't fix that.

You'll worry that he saw you starring at him. I mean, it was bad like jaw dropped, eyes wide just starring at him.

Don't worry he didn't.

You'll wonder if he was starring at you too, or if there is even a chance he might like you.

Sorry, no spoilers....

You'll be thinking of the songs he played that night, planning to look them up when you get home.

Bombshell blonde, Owl City

Lonely boy, The Black Keys

Call it what you want, Foster the People

Deer in the headlights, also Owl City

You're welcome.

You'll worry that Lindsey will be mad. She did just tell you she liked him, like what A WEEK AGO.

Yeah, sorry girl you'll have to let that one go.

You'll wonder if Pastor Dave will find out and tease you, or worse yet rat you out!

Haha, you have no idea, but you will laugh about it I swear.

You'll worry you just completely fell for him, and there'll be no turning back.

Yeah, sorry you're in deeper than you'd ever admit.

If I could tell you anything, I'd tell you that the next six months are going to be really hard.

Having a crush on Peter will be one of the most confusing, wonderful things you'll ever do.

You will be miserable, and you will give up on him a thousand times.

You almost won't give him that birthday present, but please just push through the awkwardness and do it.

When you figure out that Vampire Weekend is a good band, maybe you should post about it on Instagram...Just a suggestion.

When you start texting him more frequently, don't forget to breath.

You have a very abstract view of Peter Bennett right now, but don't rush, just get to know him.

Stay calm, this might not end like you think.

Hold in there, girl...March will be here sooner than you think.
